Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026 · 日本語(正文)
This is a reference translation. The Japanese version is the governing text and prevails wherever the two differ (Terms of Service, Article 10).
In “OISHOI!” (the “Service”), JUGOYA.AI (“we”, “us”) receives a photograph showing your face. A recognisable photo of a face is personal information. Below we set out plainly where it goes, how long it is kept, and how to erase it.
1. What we collect
- Your photo (uploaded by the person in it).
- Information from the account used to log in. With Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture; with LINE we receive an identifier, display name and profile picture. If you log in with LINE, we do not receive your email address.
- Your name or display name (the short name your villager carries in the world; a nickname is fine).
- Your date of birth. The Service is for people aged 18 and over, so we ask at registration. It is never shown to other users, and we use it for nothing but confirming age.
- Payment information. Card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment provider Stripe; we do not hold card numbers. We receive only records such as whether the payment succeeded and the amount.
2. What we use it for
We use the photo you give us to create that person's villager (a 3D character), and for quality improvement and statistics (verifying generation success rates and results — internal analysis only). We do not use it for:
- Advertising, promotion, or display on our own site (never without that person's individual consent).
- Supplying or repurposing it as training data for AI models.
- Providing or selling it to third parties unrelated to the Service.
We also extract technical information about how the photo was taken (image size and orientation, camera model, brightness, exposure, ISO and the like) and use it to analyse how to improve generation success. ⭐ This is aggregated in a form that cannot be traced to anyone (not linked to you or your character), and is kept as statistics.
⭐ We do not collect where a photo was taken (GPS location). Even when a photo contains it, we discard it without extracting it. The capture time is rounded to the date before use — keeping the time of day would, combined with the camera model, allow an individual to be inferred.
3. Who your photo goes to (processors)
Generating a character uses external services. Your photo is passed to the following for processing.
- Google (Gemini API)
Used to determine body orientation and the position of each part from the photo, and to generate the character's images. We use it as a paid service with billing enabled, configured so that what we send is not used to improve the model. Processing may take place on servers outside Japan. - Amazon Web Services
Used to store the uploaded photo and the generated data (Tokyo region). Storage is private, and nobody can reach it without a link that carries an expiry. - Stripe
Used for payment processing. No photo is passed to Stripe.
Other than the above, we do not provide it to third parties except where disclosure is required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
- The original photo you uploaded is deleted within 24 hours of that character's generation completing (an automatic deletion rule, so it cannot be forgotten).
- The working copy of the photo is kept until the character is deleted, so that we can handle a remake and for quality improvement and statistics.
- The finished character's data (textures and so on) is kept until you delete it. If you delete your account, it is deleted along with it.
- Upload links carry an expiry and stop working once it passes.
- The statistics from section 2 are aggregated so that nobody can be identified from them; because they identify no individual, they are kept even after an account is deleted (they do not include where a photo was taken).
- Payment records are kept for the period the law requires.
- If we discontinue the Service during the beta, we will notify you in advance and then delete all data.
5. What we do on receipt
- We check the file format, size and dimensions, and reject anything unexpected.
6. Your rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- delete your photo and your character;
- disclose, correct or stop using the personal information we hold;
- withdraw consent you previously gave.
The contact point is support@jugoya.ai. We reply within 5 business days.
7. Age
During the beta, use is limited to cases where the registrant and the person in the photo are 18 or over. We cannot accept photos showing minors.
8. Identity and consent
Photos are uploaded by the person in them. We do not accept a photo sent on someone else's behalf, because we cannot confirm that person's consent. When you upload, we ask you to confirm that it is you, and that you have the right to upload it (including the photographer's permission).
Age is confirmed by the date of birth you give at registration. People under 18 cannot create a character.
9. How far your character is shown
There are two kinds of home for a character. You choose which before uploading your photo — so that nobody discovers after the fact that they did not know it would be public.
- Public (the shared world)
Your character's appearance, display name and money ranking are shown to other users who have registered and opened the world. - Private (a world of your own, paid)
Not shown to other users.
The Public plan reaches beyond the Service. Article 6 of the Terms of Service permits other users to record the world as video or images and post it to video sites and social media. As a result it may be indexed by search engines and seen by people who are not logged in. Choosing the Public plan means agreeing to this. The Private plan does not carry this, because nobody but you can open that world.
We do not publish your character to search engines ourselves, and your email address and date of birth are never visible to other users.
Whichever home you choose, a finished character is shown to nobody until you approve it in the preview. Even after approval you can delete it yourself at any time, and it stops being shown immediately. If you would like to move to the Private plan, please contact us at the address below.
10. Security
Photos are stored in private storage, and access requires a signature that expires. Traffic is encrypted.
11. Analytics (data sent to a third party)
To improve the Service we use the analytics service PostHog (PostHog, Inc., USA). When you view a page, information such as the URL of the page viewed, your browser type and your approximate region is sent to their servers. This measurement is cookieless — it stores no cookies or identifiers on your device — and never transmits your uploaded photos, name, date of birth or any other content or registration data. We do not track individuals for advertising.
We also use the analytics of our hosting platform, Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA — Vercel Web Analytics). The URL of the page viewed, your browser type and your approximate region are sent to them. This likewise stores no cookies or identifiers on your device.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the changed content and the last-updated date on this page and announce it inside the Service. For people whose email address we hold, we will also write to that address in the case of significant changes.
